And when your Lord called out to Musa, saying: Go to the unjust people, 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 and my chest will become constricted and my tongue will not be loosed (in my speech), therefore, send to Aaron. 13 As for me, they hold the charge of a crime against me. I fear they will put me to death." 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 Go to Pharaoh, both of you, and say, 'We are messengers from the Lord of the Worlds: 16 Send with us the Children of Isra'il? 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 (Pharaoh) said unto those around him: Hear ye not? 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 (Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?" 30 [Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful." 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
