(Recount to them about the time) when Your Lord called Moses: "Go to the wrong-doing people, 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 They also have a sin against me, and I fear they will slay me.' 14 Allah said: "Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily! We shall be with you, listening. 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle. 21 "And this is the past favour with which you reproach me, that you have enslaved the Children of Israel." 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 Then he flung down his staff and it became a serpent manifest, 32 And he drew forth his hand and lo! it was white to the beholders. 33
