۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
