۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
