۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
