۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
