۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
