3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
