۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
