۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
