3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
