۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
