۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
