And recite to them the news of Ibrahim. 69 [how it was] when he asked his father and his people, "What is it that you worship?" 70 They replied: "We worship idols and are devoted to them." 71 He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?" 72 or benefit you or do you harm?" 73 They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus." 74 Thereupon, Abraham said: "Have you seen (with your eyes) those whom you have been worshipping, 75 you and those ancient forebears of yours? 76 "Now [as for me, I know that,] verily, these [false deities] are my enemies, [and that none is my helper] save the Sustainer of all the worlds, 77 "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me; 78 And He Who gives me to eat and gives me to drink: 79 who, when I am sick, heals me; 80 And Who causeth me to die, then giveth me life (again), 81 And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense." 82 [And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. 83 “And give me proper fame among the succeeding generations.” 84 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Delight, 85 and forgive my father; for he is one of the misguided; 86 and do not put me to shame on the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 87 the Day on which neither wealth will be of any use, nor children, 88 except him who comes before Allah with a pure heart; 89 On the Day of Judgment Paradise will be brought near the pious 90 And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring. 91 And it shall be said unto them where is that which ye were wont to worship? 92 instead of God? Can these [things and beings] be of any help to you or to themselves?" 93 Then they will be thrown on their faces into the (Fire), They and the Ghawun (devils, and those who were in error). 94 and the hosts of iblis all together. 95 And they will say while they dispute with one another, 96 By Allah, of a truth we were in error manifest 97 When we made you equal to the Lord of the worlds; 98 "'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. 99 So now we have no intercessors 100 no loyal friend. 101 Would that we might return again, and be among the believers' 102 Verily there is a sign in this, but many of them do not believe. 103 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
