The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
