Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
