The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
