The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
