The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
