Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
