The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
