The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
