The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
