Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
