The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
