The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
