The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
