The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
