Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
