Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
