The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
