The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
