The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
