The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
