The Thamud tribe denied the Noble Messengers. 141 when their brother Salih said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 142 Truly, I am a trustworthy messenger for you, 143 so fear God and obey me. 144 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 145 Do you believe that you will be left here to live securely in the present state 146 in the midst of gardens and fountains, 147 "And corn-fields and date-palms with spathes near breaking (with the weight of fruit)? 148 Will you still hew your dwellings in the mountains? 149 "Be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me, 150 And obey not the command of the extravagant. 151 Who cause corruption in the land and do not amend." 152 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched! 153 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; then produce a sign, if thou art one of the truthful.' 154 He said: 'Here is a shecamel. She shall have her share of water as you have yours on an appointed day. 155 Do not treat her unkindly or the punishment of a grievous day will fall on you." 156 But they ham-strung her: then did they become full of regrets. 157 and the punishment seized them. Surely, in that there is a sign. Yet most of them do not believe. 158 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 159

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
