Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 "Must you, of all people, [lustfully] approach men, 165 instead of your wives, whom your Lord has created specially for you? You are a transgressing people." 166 They said: if thou desistest not, O Lut! thou shalt surely be of those driven forth. 167 He said, “I am disgusted with your works.” 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 So We saved him and all his people, 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Thereafter, We utterly destroyed the rest, 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 175
