The people of Lot cried lies to the Envoys 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" 167 He said, 'Truly I am a detester of what you do. 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 So We saved him and his household, every one, 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 Thereafter, We utterly destroyed the rest, 172 We rained upon them a rain, and evil is the rain (of stones) on those that are warned. 173 Surely, in that there is a sign. Yet most of them do not believe. 174 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
