The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers. 176 Recall, when Shuayb said to them: "Have you no fear? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 And weigh with the true balance. 182 do not defraud people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not spread corruption in the land. 183 And fear Him who created you and all the earlier people." 184 They said, "You are no more than a bewitched and insane man 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
