The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance, 182 and do not deliver short, and do not go about creating mischief in the land, 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 191
