The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 Shu'ayb asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 177 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 You are only a human being like ourselves. Indeed we think you are a liar. 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 He. said: My Lord is the Best Knower of that which ye work. 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
