The dwellers of the thicket gave the lie to the apostles. 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 They rejected him, and then had to suffer the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom. That was indeed the punishment of an awful day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
