And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy? 207 And We destroyed no township but it had its warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 nor does it behove them, nor does it lie in their power. 211 Most surely they are far removed from the hearing of it. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 and warn your nearest kinsmen; 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 If they disobey you, say: 'I am quit of what you do' 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship). 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
