And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 The Trusted Spirit hath brought it down. 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayest be of the warners, 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! 227
Almighty God's Truth.
