The Ant (Al-Naml)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin. Those are the signs of the Koran and a Manifest Book, 1 They are glad news and guidance for the believers 2 Those who keep the prayer established and pay the charity and are certain of the Hereafter. 3 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter – We have made their deeds seem good to them, so they are astray. 4 Such are those for whom there is an evil punishment, and in the Everlasting Life are the greatest losers. 5 You have received this Quran from One who is all-wise, all-knowing. 6 [Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves." 7 But when he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is whosoever is in the fire, and whosoever is round about it! And glorified be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 8 “O Moosa, I am indeed, in truth, Allah the Almighty, the Wise.” 9 And cast thou down thy staff. Then when he saw it wriggling as though it were a serpent, he turned in flight and looked not back. O Musa! fear thou not; verily in My presence the sent ones fear not. 10 Otherwise, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil - indeed, I am Forgiving and Merciful. 11 "Now place thy hand into thy bosom: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish!" [And thou shalt go] with nine [of My] messages unto Pharaoh and his people for, verily, they are people depraved!" 12 But when Our signs came to them visibly, they said, 'This is a manifest sorcery'; 13 And they denied them – whereas in their hearts they were certain of them – due to injustice and pride; therefore see what sort of fate befell the mischievous! 14
