The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
