Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
