Al-Naml 6 of 7
The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
