And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
