The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
