Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
